Maps are discounted to as little as $8 each in certain package deals.

Registration Bonus free when you register |
ebEB7: An Empire Builder (7th edition) alternate map is included as your free bonus when you register EBP
and/or EBPEdit (no need to list it on the order form). It is similar to the USA map, except
adds Mexico and has additional load types and events. (This map was renamed from EB6 so as to correct
its numbering to match the board game editions.)

Essential Maps $15 individually or if purchased at the same time you pay to register EBP: $34 for Express Package (ebEU4+ebAU2 and map editor) $64 for SuperExpress Package (five at right plus map editor) Requires EBP Version 1.3.x |
ebEU4: The Eurorails (4th edition) map gives the game a continental flavor as it spans Europe from Spain to Russia.
Ferries connect close and remote ports. Contracts new to this edition make parts of Scandinavia a viable play.
Note that Chunnel construction is handled slightly differently than in the board game. Get this map at a discount
as part of the Express or SuperExpress packages. widescreen shot
ebAU2: You and your mates will enjoy this new version of Australian Rails (2nd edition). After riding the ferry
to Tasmania, should you build along the coast or cross-continent? This map will be familiar to those
who have played the box-format board game. Also available is the original edition.
ebJPN: The narrow islands of Japan make this a good map for 2 or 3 players. Watch out for volcanic eruptions!
Get this Nippon Rails map at a discount as part of the SuperExpress package.
ebNYC: depicts the New York City metro area. Track building costs are high, but the payoffs
are large and there are many load types to monopolize. The quickest map, takes only about half the
play time of most other maps: you can win in under 30 rounds.
Get this map at a discount as part of the SuperExpress package.
ebGB3: On this updated British Rails map (3rd edition), the jumbo-sized city of London dominates the southeast,
but more importantly, can you find the key loads and rail corridors? A good map for 3 or 4 players.
Also available is the original edition.
Express and SuperExpress Packages include the EBPEdit map editor. |

Free Maps The best free maps will be posted here. Such inclusion entitles the map's designer to free EBP upgrades for life. |
ebCOL: Mountainous terrain will challenge your track building in Colorado. Watch out for those steep
snowy alpines that will tolerate only tunnels, and the valleys too deep to be spanned.
Daryl Poe has contributed his excellent Colorado map free for use in EBP. Comes with custom
"old-timey" icons and steam engine sound effects. Copyright Daryl Poe. Download ebCOL.ZIP.
ebCAN: Pour yourself a frosty mug of the #1 commodity on this free Canada map from Greg Johnson. The Great
Lakes and other obstacles will have you racing to build track along the best corridors before your opponents
can. Requires EBP version 1.3.5 or newer. Copyright Greg Johnson.

More Board Game Favorites $15 each or $12 when you register EBP or discounted as part of the Boardgamer Special and Ultra Packages Requires EBP Version 1.2.x, or newer except Martian Rails which requires 1.3.5 |
ebRUS: When Communism falls, on which side of the border will your Russian Rails train be? You'll have to pay a bribe
to get your train into the Russian Federation. Special Demand events create a new form of competition:
they are open to all, but only the first player to deliver the demanded loads collects the payoff.
Note there are some minor event differences from the board game.
ebIND: In India Rails, Pilgrims crowd aboard your train while you're delivering other loads, but if you drop
them off at the temple in a major city, you can collect a small bonus even if you're not holding a
contract that demands them. Generally considered a nicely balanced map. Note there are some minor event differences from the board game.
ebMOO: Prepare for a different kind of space warp: in Lunar Rails your tracks can wrap around the surface from
near side to far side via teleports, but beware the meteor shower events. Figuring the shortest route is
a unique, mind-bending experience. Note there are some minor map and event variations from the board game.
ebCHN: The diverse terrain of China Rails presents new empire building challenges. The State
will require you to interrupt your well-made plans and deliver Officials to a big city. There is much
trade with Taiwan, but the island employs a different track gauge, so instead you rely on Container
ferries to exchange loads. Plan carefully because the Containers limit your pickups and deliveries.
A fresh and exciting game map.
ebMAR: Inspired by science-fiction literature, in Martian Rails you criss-cross the red planet's canals
with exploratory locomotives. Wrap points, like those in Lunar Rails (also by designer Bob Stribula),
help connect you around the ruddy globe. Unique events will keep you on your little green toes.
Plays fast (about 25% fewer rounds than most maps).
Note there are some minor map and event variations from the board game.

adds Mexico and has additional load types and events. Get this map at a discount as part of the Ultra Package.
ebEUR: The original edition Europe map spans the continent from Spain to Russia.
The British Isles are connected via ferries. Should you build to Spain for oranges, Italy for tobacco,
or Warsaw for ham? Get this map at a discount as part of the Ultra Package.
ebAUS: Experience railroading down under. Unusual Australian topography, such as deserts and dry rivers
give this map a unique feel. This original edition will be familiar to those who have played the tube-format board game. The Ghan locomotive
image is courtesy Graham D Baker. Get this map at a discount as part of the Ultra Package.
ebGB1: Great Britain, where standard gauge railroading was invented, is the setting for this original edition map. Good competition
for 2 to 4 players who vie for the best north-south track alignments.

ebAFR: Build through the Saraha or follow the Nile? That's one of the decisions to be made in
African Rails, one of three maps designed by Jeff Marr.
ebCAL: Zoom into the California/Nevada area with this Jeff Marr-designed map. Jeff has included
social commentary in his choice of loads (note to parents: this map contains references to load
types such as Weed).

South American Rails map designed by Jeff Marr.

As you probably realize, these maps are not the physical board games themselves, but rather counterparts that work with EBP.
To use an alternate map you have obtained, uncompress it into the directory in which you previously installed EBP.EXE or EBPEDIT.EXE. Then, inside the EBP program, from the File menu, select Open Map. From the dialog box that appears, choose the desired map. Please note that to play on alternate maps, you must have a registered copy of EBP.
